Patriarch Kirill called on parishioners to go to Ukraine

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Kirill said that every Orthodox parish should help participants in the “special military operation”.

“And if we say that the Church is with our people, then each parish should help those who are on the line of fire. We need to mobilize our parishioners so that they collect things, products. Look for opportunities, collect money, send parcels, send parcels, send it. If possible, go for yourself, support the military, ”the patriarch said at the fraternal meal with the clergy of Moscow on the occasion of the festival of the Baptism of the Lord.

The church is already doing a lot to help the military, but this is still not enough, Patriarch Kirill added. As he concluded, “the time has come when we should be along with our suffering people and, first of all, with those who at the cost of life protecting our Orthodox people in the Donbass.”
