Prime Minister Montenegro: Türkiye has turned into key country in Balkans

Türkiye has turned into a key country in the Western Balkans. This “Anadolu” was stated by Montenegro Prime Minister Dritan Abazovich in Istanbul.

Abazovich emphasized that the successful relations of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with regional leaders made Turkey a “key country” in the Western Balkans.

The Prime Minister said that Turkey began to play the same effective role as the European Union (EU) and the USA.

“President (Record Tayyip) Erdogan is one who can convince the problematic parties in the Balkans to sit down at the negotiating table and find stable solutions to problems in the region. I think that the intermediary role of Turkey is very important in solving the tension between Serbia and Kosovo” – said the head of government.

Abazovich believes that the concentration of the Turkish leader is more effort on solving problems in the Balkans is extremely important for ensuring peace and stability in the region.

He noticed that Turkey as a superpower maintains friendly relations with all the countries of the world.

“There is no such example in the world. All the steps that Turkey will take in global diplomacy are valuable for both the countries of the region and the Balkans,” the Prime Minister of Montenegro emphas.
