Turkish Air Force was struck by 15 objects of terrorists in north of Iraq

The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey announced the destruction of 15 targets during the air operation Hakurka in the north of Iraq.

The statement states that on November 4 at 19.30, in accordance with the right to self -defense arising from Article 51 of the UN Charter, an air operation was carried out against terrorist organizations in the Khakakk area in the north of Iraq.

“In order to prevent terrorist attacks on our people and security forces from the north of Iraq by neutralizing the RSC/KSK and other terrorist elements and ensuring the safety of our borders in accordance with the right to self -defense arising from Article 51 of the UN Charter, in the Khakakuk area on North of Iraq on November 4, 2023 at 19.30 an air operation was carried out against the goals of terrorists, ”the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

It is noted that the result of air strikes destroyed 15 objects consisting of caves, shelters, bunkers, shelters and warehouses used by a separatist terrorist organization in which high -ranking members of these organizations were allegedly hidden.

“During the operations performed, a large number of terrorists were neutralized, while domestic and national ammunition were maximally used. The fight against terrorism will continue until a single terrorist remains in this geography,” the department said.
