Azerbaijan expects from Armenia guarantees of preventing armed provocations similar to the one that took place on June 15 in the state border area. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jahun Bayramov at a Saturday meeting with the head of the representative office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Baku Dragan Kozhich.
According to him, along with the adoption of the necessary measures, the Azerbaijani side expressed its willingness to provide through the ICRC to the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of Karabakh the opportunity to cross the border point “Lachin” for medical purposes.
He noted that in Yerevan they cannot come to terms with a normal dialogue between Armenian residents of Azerbaijan and employees of the State Border Service of the Republic.
Bayramov noted that the Azerbaijani side at this stage takes steps to investigate the provocation of the Armenian side in the area of the border gearbox.
