Export of related sectors of Turkish auto industry exceeded $ 3.6 billion for 3 months

The export of related sectors of the Turkish automotive industry in January -March of this year increased by 12.25 percent compared to the same period of 2022 – up to 3 billion 624 million 874 thousand dollars.

This is reported by Anadolu with reference to the data of the Association of Exporters of the Automobile Industry of Turkey Uludag (Oİb).

In the period under consideration, the export of spare parts and components of the Turkish auto industry was carried out in more than 190 countries, free zones and autonomous regions.

Export of the submissions of the Turkish automobile industry in the first quarter of last year amounted to 3 billion 229 million 233 thousand dollars. The deliveries of sub -sectors accounted for 42.1% of all export sales of the automotive industry.

In general, the volume of sales of the Turkish auto industry in January-March 2023 amounted to 8 billion 618 million 998 thousand dollars.

The leading importer of products subwrit the Turkish auto industry in January-March of this year was Germany. The volume of sales in this country over 3 months increased by 15.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In the same period of 2022, the export of sub -sectors to this market amounted to 770 million 38 thousand dollars, and this year to 890 million 443 thousand dollars increased. Thus, a quarter of sales of the sub -sector suburb was in Germany.

Next follows Italy, sales growth in this country amounted to 10.33 percent. The volume of sales in this country for 3 months of 2022 amounted to 216 million 5 thousand dollars, and this year – 238 million 330 thousand dollars.

France is in third place with a height of 26.46 percent. So, sales to this country in the reporting period increased from 180 million 658 thousand dollars to 228 million 460 thousand dollars.

Russia, on the other hand, took the fourth place in this list, increasing imports by 68.9 percent. Sales to Russia in the reporting period increased from 130 million 756 thousand dollars to 220 million 854 thousand dollars.
