On the eve of the management of the State Historical and Architecture Reserve “Icherisheher” a presentation of the book “Karabakh – our historical and cultural heritage” took place.
According to HAQQIN.AZ in management, the Presentation was attended by the head of the Department of the State Historical and Architecture Reserve “Icherisheher Riad Gasimov, the authors of the book – doctor of historical sciences Wafa Guliyev and the doctor of philosophy on the history of Ganir Parguliyev, as well as famous historians and researchers . Detailed information about the book was provided by Professor Gafar Dzhabiev, Kerim Shukürov, Associate Professor Parvin Akhanchi, Hijran Mahmudov, Asker Ahmed.
at the event noted that the book was prepared on the management of the “Icherisheher”. The book is devoted to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. The publication provides detailed information about the history, numismatics, epigraphic monuments, the school of carpets, pottery, national costumes, artistic and jewelry, literary environment, music and theater in Karabakh.
The book describes in detail about the Christian and Islamic epigraphic monuments of Karabakh. The existence of Christian temples in Karabakh, which are the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, was once again confirmed on the basis of epigraphic monuments. Thanks to the epigraphic inscriptions on the monuments of the Islamic period, the names of scientists, architects, calligraphs, Sufi Sheykhov, the founders of the Karabakh architectural school entered the history of scientists. The book also describes in detail about the talented creators of Karabakh, who created unique works of art for centuries, and on their cultivation schools.
In the book, the details of the 44-day Patriotic War of the Azerbaijani people also reflected.
