The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Iran will declare the final list of candidates for the upcoming presidential elections on May 26-27, reports Mehr.
According to the press secretary of the election headquarters, the registration of volunteers to participate in the presidential election in Iran on May 13 will begin on May 11 and will last until May 15.
The registration process will be held at the country’s electoral headquarters, which is located in the premises of the Ministry of the Interior in Tehran.
After the verification process is held by the Guardian Council, May 26-27, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will announce the names of qualified candidates.
Then candidates will be allowed to start their election campaign until June 17.
