The Religious Fund of Turkey (TDV) on the occasion of the holiday, Kurban distributed sacrificial meat among more than 316 thousand people.
TDV said that this year the fund concentrated its humanitarian activities in 11 Turkish provinces, affected by destructive earthquakes with epicenters in Kazakhmanmarash.
The charity action of the Fund, dedicated to the Curban holiday, takes place under the slogan “share sacrificial meat, get closer to your brother.”
As part of the charity event, 12 thousand 82 donations were collected. Sacrificial meat was distributed among more than 316 thousand affected by the earthquake.
Emre Accounting, TDV volunteer and the actor of the Risen Ertugrul television series, took part in the charity event and the organization of the distribution of sacrificial meat in the southern province of Hatay.
“Together with our colleagues in the region, with all the thoroughly organized the distributions of philanthropists among the victims of the earthquake. The Turkish people mobilized all their resources in the distress zone from the first day of the earthquake. This year TDV also concentrated their humanitarian activities in the injured regions. Most of the donations within the country will be provided to the victims of earthquakes. Sacrificial meat in the province of Hatai will be distributed among more than 25 thousand people, ”said the account.
