Pakistan court freed ex-prime minister on bail

The Judicial Collegium of the Supreme Court of Islamabad liberated the country of the former prime minister of the country of Imran Khan.

On the eve, the Constitutional Court of Pakistan called the “illegal” arrest of the politician in the building of the Supreme Court of Islamabad and demanded an immediate liberation of the politician.

The leader of the Party “Motion for Justice” (PTI) of the Imran Khan was arrested on May 9 in the capital, which provoked mass protests throughout the country. Politics are accused of corruption during his premiership.

The police detained over a thousand participants in mass protests. As a result of clashes of PTI supporters with the police, a large number of state institutions were injured.

On April 10, 2022, the prime minister Khan was shifted from his post as a result of a vote of no confidence. 174 legislators spoke out against him.
