Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu to continue the development of the Russian fleet.

According to the Kremlin press service, the head of the Russian state said at a meeting with the country’s Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu on Monday, April 17th.

“But the tasks of the development of the fleet, including at the Pacific Theater, did not cancel, did not remove, and therefore I ask you this work, of course, to continue, also pay attention to the development and preparation of such events and in other fleets” – said the president.

And among other things, of course, the fleet forces in its individual components, of course, can be used in conflicts in any direction, the Kremlin press service quotes Putin.

“Therefore, I ask you to keep this in mind too. Actually, both the Ministry of Defense as a whole, and the General Staff is doing this, I know,” the president said.
