Rally in Tbilisi: protesters demand to cancel curfew

Civil activists on Saturday hold a rally in Tbilisi demanding to relieve a restriction on the output of people outside at night, which is valid due to coronavirus pandemic daily from 21:00 to 05:00. This was reported by the Georgian TV channel TV Pirveli.

“We are very evil because it is impossible to force our own population within 200 days to be at home. We are not slaves, cattle, so that we are closed at home,” said the leader of the civil motion “Austrial” Giga Makarashvili in an interview with TV channel.

Demonstrators began to be collected in different parts of Tbilisi, and then simultaneously headed for Rustaveli Avenue, where the Parliament Building is located. They also require annuling fines, discharged to people for disrupting the ban on night movement.

The protesters plan to demonstrately disrupt the ban on the night movement and stay from the parliament after 21:00.
