On the eve of the Renaissance of Karabakh, a meeting was held with members of the Presidium of Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA).
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Renaissance of Karabakh, Minister of Economy Mikael Dzhabbarov, member of the Supervisory Board, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babaev, Chairman of the Central Bank of Elman Rustamov, Chairman of the Renaissance Fund of Karabakh Rakhman Hajiyev, President of Association of Azerbaijan Skir Nuriyev, as well as members of the Presidium of Ababa and representatives of the banking sector.
As part of the event, the documentary film “Urbicide in Karabakh” was demonstrated, which showed destroyed buildings and historical monuments on previously occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
During the discussions, the importance of expanding cooperation with existing donors, the development of public-private partnership was emphasized. The importance of engaging in the process along with various layers of society of financial and banking sectors, as well as potential donors, was noted.
In the coming days, a Memorandum of Cooperation will be signed between the Renaissance of the Karabakh and Association of Banks of Azerbaijan. The meeting decided to create working groups for the implementation of joint projects of the Renaissance of the Karabakh and Association of Banks of Azerbaijan.
At the event, the Chairman of the Board of Monganbank Elmiru Hasanov was awarded a special “certificate of donation” for supporting the work carried out on the liberated territories.
Note that Muganbank listed 100 thousand manat at the expense of the Renaissance of Karabakh.
