The Ukrainian General Staff in the summary of Monday morning indirectly confirms that the Russian troops are at least close to taking Bakhmut into the operational environment, that is, to cut the main ways to him.
Among the settlements, in the area of which the Ukrainian military had beaten off attacks in the last day, the village of Stupochka appeared in the morning report. This village is located on the road connecting Bakhmut with the city of Konstantinovka, which was an important supply unit for the Bakhmut garrison.
At the same time, the General Staff writes in the summary that in the Limansky, Avdeevsky and Zaporizhzhya directions the Russians “conducted unsuccessful offensive actions”, and in the Bakhmut direction – “continued offensive actions.”
