United States is discussing placement of thousands of military in Eastern Europe

The USA and allies are discussing the shipment of an additional military contingent to the countries of Eastern Europe due to the threat of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This is reported by CNN with reference to informed sources.

It is assumed that the troops can be sent to Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary – a thousand troops to each of these countries.

On January 23, the newspaper The New York Times reported that the Pentagon offered President Joe Bideno to send to countries of Eastern Europe from one to five thousand US militarys with the possibility of increasing this number 10 times. The official representative of Pentagon John Kirby later stated that in the United States, 8.5 thousand military personnel were presented in the United States.
