Uzbekistan blows wall on border with Kyrgyzstan

as part of the opening plan for three checkpoints on the border between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the Uzbek side blows the wall in the state border area. This was reported by the border service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan.

We are talking about the wall near the Buck Aboad-Hanabad checkpoint on the border of the Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan and the Andijan region of Uzbekistan.

“KPP” Hanabad-Autodorozhny was closed by Uzbekistan unilaterally in 2010. In response, Bishkek also suspended the work of the Bekabad-Avtorozhny checkpoint. After the recent bilateral agreements on the resumption of previously mothballed checkpoints from the Kyrgyz side, work was carried out to restore the restoration work of border guards, ”the statement said.

In 2010, in addition to the Buck-Abad checkpoint, the work of the Kara-Suu and Kara-Bagysh pass in the Osh region was suspended.

Earlier it became known that Bishkek and Tashkent agreed to resume the work of the border posts.
