Czech Republic stops issuing visas to Russians

“Czech Republic suspends the issuance of visas to Russian citizens and permits for temporary accommodation. Exceptions are made only for cases when visas are needed on humanitarian considerations.” This was announced to journalists Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Peter Phial.

Phial also called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to sit at the negotiating table.

“I want to appeal to the President of the Russian Federation again. In all areas of Ukraine go fights. Let’s sit down at the negotiating table. To stop the death of people,” he said.

Recall that earlier the Czech Republic closed the Russian Consulates of the Consulates in the cities of Brno and Karlovy Vary and their representative offices in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.
