Erdogan: Türkiye is aimed at good relations with Russia

Ankara will not support the Western countries on the issue of imposing sanctions against Russia and its President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at a rally in the province of Sivas.

The statement of Erdogan was made in response to the statement of the candidate for the post of head of state and leader of the Republican People’s Party (RNP) Kemal Kylychdaroglu, who promised to introduce strict sanctions against Moscow.

The Turkish leader also emphasized that he maintains positive contacts with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin.

“Mr. Kemal (Kylychdaroglu) is unhappy with the fact that I maintain good relations with Mr. Putin. He says:” I will obey the instructions of the West, I will impose sanctions against Putin. “You are absolutely not versed in politics, Mr. Kemal go to rest, ”said, in particular, the Turkish leader.

He added that thanks to this factor, Turkey can act as an intermediary between Russia and Ukraine.

The Head of State noted that he advocates maintaining a positive attitude in the policy of Ankara in relation to Russia, the USA and other Western countries, as well as China.

According to Erdogan, Turkey will continue to develop the infrastructure of transport communications with fraternal Azerbaijan.

He stated this, commenting on the non -inclusion of Azerbaijan in the project “Renaissance of the Silk Road” by Kemal Kylychdaroglu.

“Turkey will develop the infrastructure of transport communications with the Azerbaijani brothers, despite the fact that the Secretary General of the RNP is ignored by Karabakh and the Zangezur corridor,” said the Turkish leader at a rally in the province of Sivas.

The head of state announced the construction of a high -speed railway in Turkey, which will stretch to Baku.

“who left London will be able to get to Beijing through our country. Of course, we will realize all this without excluding Azerbaijan, but shoulder to shoulder with him,” said the Turkish leader.
