This was announced on social networks by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey Ali Yerlika.
According to him, the name of the terrorist Guven Ozzhan under the code name Redur Siser was listed in the “gray” list of particularly wanted terrorists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey.
Ozzhan was one of the organizers and executors of 4 terrorist attacks in Turkey, as a result of which 10 gendarmerie employees were killed, the minister said.
Yerlika said that the operation against terrorists was carried out jointly by the security forces of the provinces of Bitlis and Van. The terrorist was neutralized in the village of Sarytash in the Province of Bitlis, he said.
The minister emphasized that Turkish security forces will continue the decisive struggle against terrorism until the terrorist threat is completely eradicated.
