From May 20 to June 22, NATO will hold the teachings of Steadfast Defender 21, in which up to nine thousand military personnel are involved. This is reported by TASS.
exercises will be held on the southern flag of the Alliance, that is, in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Portugal. American reinforcements will be worked out.
The representative of the Alliance said that there will be three parts in the teachings. In the first, sea, there are up to 20 ships and submarines, 40 aircraft and five thousand military. In the second, commodity-staff exercises in Hungary, up to three thousand military will be involved. In the third, field, in Romania and Bulgaria are in charge of four thousand military and six thousand units.
Earlier, the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg before the meeting of the EU Council at the level of the heads of the Ministry of Defense, noted that after removal of Russian troops from the Zone of April-Tens in Crimea and the border with Ukraine still remain tens of thousands of military.
