Professor Adil Gabulla: Quarantine in Azerbaijan can be tightened

Quarantine mode introduced in Azerbaijan due to a coronavirus pandemic can be tightened in the event of a deterioration in the epidemiological situation. This was stated by Professor of Azerbaijan Medical University Adil Gabulla, reports Trend.

According to him, this is done in order to reduce the number of social contacts between people.

“Coronavirus mutates new mutations already more than 200. Cases of re-infection, including among vaccinated. The level of infection is growing. Therefore, quarantine is the only measure to prevent such cases,” Gaibulla said.

According to Professor, quarantine can be tightened by introducing a system for obtaining SMS permits to exit home or other different restrictions.

“To have a result, hard quarantine should last from 20 to 30 days,” said Gabulla.
