Ukraine sends rescuers to Turkey

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the State Committee for Emergencies and the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs to send a search and rescue detachment of 87 people to Turkey to eliminate the consequences of a powerful earthquake.

“In accordance with the second secondary of Article 135 of the Civil Protection Code of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service send to the Turkish Republic by AN-32 and An-26 aircraft and road transport a consolidated search and rescue detachment of the State Emergency Service ( Further – a consolidated search and rescue detachment) with a total number of 87 people, including 10 people – members of the crews of aircraft, to assist in eliminating the consequences of the earthquake, ”the report said.
