Chisinau refutes information on closing of sky because of Transnistria

Civil Aviation Organ Moldova Against the background of reports that aircraft do not fly over the country due to explosions in Transnistria, said that the Moldovan airspace remains closed since the end of the Russian Federation to Ukraine.

Earlier in social networks and the media reported that after explosions in Transnistria, the aircraft began to avoid the airspace of Moldova.

The air space of Moldova was closed after the RF invasion of the Russian Federation, which began on February 24. From March 21, a part of the country’s airspace was re-opened for civil aviation only in the Western direction (Chisinau – Iasi). In this regard, civil aircraft do not fly over the airspace of Moldova.
