Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the transfer of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Populator of the Supervision of Children’s Houses and Children deprived of parental care.
According to the Decree, from November 1, 2022, the authority to conduct state policy, regulation and government control over adoptive families, as well as families (persons), who wish to become a foster family (adoptive parent), as well as maintaining in electronic form of a single accounting of children transferred to the adoptive families, the premises of children deprived of parental care, in children’s homes, as well as decision-making on their discharge from these houses, adopting measures to return children from orphanages in families or adoptive families using social support mechanisms, adopting measures for Preventing children in the aforementioned institutions, as well as the development of individual development plans in connection with the pupils of orphans, entrusted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
In connection with this, the Cabinet of Ministers is requested in a sevenway to prepare and submit proposals to the President of Azerbaijan in connection with the improvement of the regulatory framework for the development and promotion of the institution of the adoptive family, as well as other issues.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population is requested before November 1, 2022 to improve the subsystem of the centralized electronic information system of the Ministry of Ministries “Children, deprived of parental care and adoption.”
