Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs of France Cleman Bon stated that the country would never give his place in the UN Security Council to the European Union, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the Secretary of State, France in the UN Security Council protects the whole of Europe: “I clearly speak – no! This is an element of sovereignty that benefits and all of Europe,” he noted.
Earlier in the media, information appeared that supposedly France offered the EU its place in the UN Security Council.
