The Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabich said that the detentions were held at the protests against the gay parade in Belgrade. Ten police officers received easy injuries.
She noted that 64 people were detained during the parade. In her opinion, Serbia proved itself as a serious country, “which has held back the word given to citizens.”
“today about 5.2 thousand employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the streets of Belgrade were involved, we had two incidents – a conflict between certain groups in Slavia and in the Karadjorge Park, in both cases, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reacted in a timely manner, solved problems and ensured non -distribution of incidents “, – she said.
