NATO is ready to stand up for Kosovo

NATO can increase peacekeeping forces in Kosovo, if there is an escalation of the conflict with Serbia, writes Reuters.

“Now we have an important mission, a military presence in Kosovo, a number of about 4,000 people,” said Jens Stoltenberg Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance at a press conference. – “If necessary, we will transfer the strength, expand them where it is necessary and increase our presence. We have already increased our presence in the north. We are ready to do more.”

The statement was made after negotiations with President Serbia Alexander Vucic in Brussels. The leaders of Kosovo and Serbia arrived in Belgium to discuss the last conflict. Today they will negotiate, where they will discuss the situation around Kosovo.
