Poland signed its largest military contract

The Polish Ministry of Defense signed a contract for the purchase of 250 US abras tanks M1A2 by 20 billion zlotys (more than 4 billion euros), which is the largest contract for the purchase of weapons for the Polish army. It is reported by RMF24.

In July 2021, Poland sent the appropriate US request. In October, the Minister of Defense Mariusch Blazkak said that the tanks will be located in the east of the country. In February, the sale of tanks approved the State Department, in March – US Congress.

Now the Minister of Defense Marius Blazkak reported on the last point in the procedure – signing the contract Poland.
