Pope Francis said that the aggravation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was resolved thanks to Russia.
“Now the tension between Azerbaijan and Armenia was somewhat slept because Russia acted as a guarantor,” he said at a press conference.
Pontiff also noted that the dialogue is necessary and should always be preserved as a path to understanding and the world.
“The possibility of dialogue should be given to everyone, because there is always the opportunity to change something through the dialogue, in the dialogue you can imagine a different point of view. It must be led by extending your hand and taking a step towards, otherwise we will close the last door to the world”, – said Francis.
