The Russian state corporation Rosatom announced the opening of its representative office in Egypt, the Russian media reports.
“The discovery of a representative office in Egypt is a significant milestone in our desire to strengthen relations between Egypt and Rosatom,” the Russian state corporation noted during the official ceremony in Cairo.
This momot in Egypt in the collaboration of Rosatom is under construction of the first atomic power plant “Ed-Dabaa”, which will be erected in the province of Matrukh on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea about 300 km to the northwest of Cairo. It is noted that this is the first major project of Rosatom in Africa.
