Samarkand: VII meeting of ministers of education countries of OTG took place

In Samarkand, the VII meeting of the ministers of the education countries of the organization of the Turkic states (OTG) is held, reports “Dunyo”.

The Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan Hilol Umarov, opening the event, noted that such meetings between OTG member countries have been held on an ongoing basis since 2012 and are of great importance in the development of education and science. “After all, the search for solutions facing us problems, the development of interregional cooperation and the implementation of the significant potential of the Turkic world can be realized only through cooperation. Undoubtedly, the main direction in the growth of civilization is science. I believe that today’s meeting will bring the cooperation of the Turkic countries to a new level in the field education, ”the minister said.

In turn, the Secretary General of OSG Kubanychbek Omuraliev emphasized that special attention is paid to education in Uzbekistan. “The last meeting of the education ministers of the OTG member countries took place in Istanbul. Today we gathered in beautiful Samarkand. We discussed the further development of preschool, school and higher education in the Turkic states. We also visited educational institutions located in Samarkand yesterday. Each of them. I made a great impression on us. It is worth noting the idea of ​​creating presidential schools. “The results of these schools over the past 4 years testify to the high efficiency of the educational system of Uzbekistan,” said the Secretary General of Otg.

A project and initiatives related to the development of multilateral cooperation were discussed in the framework of the Samarkand meeting.

At the meeting of the Uzbek side, the UNESCO has made proposals for the implementation of the Tashkent Declaration of UNESCO in the field of preschool education, the further development of the Subtime School Cooperation Program, as well as within the framework of the OTG on the International Mathematics Olympiad named after al-Hoply among youth.
