American Senator Angus King, who visited last week on a visit to Kyiv, said that the situation in eastern Ukraine is “essentially a trench warfare.” It is reported by Politico.
“This is almost the first world war. This is terrible,” King said less than a day after returning from a trip to the Ukrainian capital.
According to King, the last package of help from the White House, including armored vehicles, is designed to solve this problem.
