USA fully support the right of Israel to protect against rockets from Gaza, said on Tuesday US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, speaking at a press conference in Jerusalem after negotiations with the Prime Minister of the Jewish State Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Joseph Biden gave clearly to understand that the United States fully support the right of Israel to defend himself from rockets from Gaza,” said Blinken, who quotes TASS.
According to Blinken, the United States simultaneously advocates compliance with the cease-fire agreement with the Palestinian group Hamas, as well as for the peaceful settlement of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
