US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken came up with the statement that Russia is engaged in blackmail, and not the assistance of resolving the global food crisis.
“President Vladimir Putin does not allow food supply and ensures that the world agrees with his requirements and canceled the sanctions. In other words, if you simply express it, it is blackmail, TASS quoted him.
He emphasized that now, due to the Russian naval blockade, Ukraine cannot transfer the crop to ordinary destination.
“In storage facilities near Odessa and on ships stuck in the port of Odessa because of this Russian blockade, about 20 million tons of wheat are locked,” Blinken said.
