According to the Government of Great Britain, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, about 15 thousand Russian troops have been killed. This figure was called the Minister of Defense Ben Wallace, speaking in parliament, reports DW.
In addition, he pointed out the losses of the RF Armed Forces in military equipment. In particular, over 2 thousand units of armored vehicles, including at least 530 tanks, 560 BMPs, 530 armored personnel carriers, as well as more than 60 helicopters and fighters, were destroyed or captured.
The British Minister also recalled that at the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Russia had more than 120 tactical battalion groups, which corresponded to approximately 65 percent of the number of terrestrial combat units of the Russian army.
“At present, we assume that more than 25 percent of them are no longer combat -ready,” he said.
