A preliminary investigation was completed in the criminal case of Ruslan Mammadov, Orhan Safarli and Rasul Rasulov, accused in connection with the explosion in the Baku night club Location. According to haqqın.az, the materials of the criminal case were sent for consideration by the Baku court for serious crimes. The criminal case is conducted by Judge Faig Ganiev.
52 people were recognized as victims.
Recall that on the night of April 3 this year in the Sabail district of Baku as a result of the explosion in the Location nightclub located on the ground floor of a residential building, one person died, 37 people were injured in varying degrees, 14 cars, an apartment and two non -residential facilities were damaged. The investigation in the criminal case instituted under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code was carried out by the Investigative Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
Investigative management established that in the kitchen of the specified object it was illegal, as well as in violation of the requirements of the current rules, a gas cylinder filled with compressed gas was used, the explosion of which led to destruction and fire in the building. The tenant LLC Mercer Food, the administrator of the nightclub Rasul Rasulov, as well as the founder of the same organization, the club manager Orhan Safarov, were detained for violations of safety rules or serious consequences of health, as well as the death of the Night Club, as well as the deaths or grave consequences for health. At the same time, during the investigation it was found that the inspector of the 2nd territorial department of the State Fire Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Ruslan Mammadov, responsible for ensuring fire safety in the specified territory, allowed negligence in the performance of his duties. He is also attracted as the accused under Article 314.2 of the Criminal Code.
