Center for Continuing Education opened in UNEC

The opening ceremony of the Center for Continuing Education took place in UNEC. The event was attended by the Rector of the UNEC Professor Adalat Muradov, Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Mustafa Abasbeyli, leaders of human resources of well-known companies and other guests.

Rector Adalat Muradov noted that the main purpose of the opening of the Center is the application of a corporate education model that meets modern requirements. The rector stressed that the main priority of the Center will be the formation of the abilities on a digital economy, given the importance of digital products and services from the point of view of consumption, special attention will be paid to consumer literacy. The rector stressed that the creation of the center is one of the steps towards the ONEC transition to the entrepreneurial university, which will increase competition among teachers.

Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Mustafa Abasbeyli told about the essence of the labor market and the requirements of citizens about employment. He noted that in ensuring employment the most sustainable tool is education, stressing that in addition to the specialty, the acquisition of professional skills is important, in this direction, continuing education is essential. He stressed that one of the tasks facing the State Agency of Employment is the formation of the right plane of cooperation between education and educational institutions, noted about the possibilities of cooperation between the agency with UNEC.

He noted that professional training courses, certified programs, corporate education, mini-program specialty, short and intensive courses, international summer schools will be organized at the Center for Continuing Education. As well as prepare for exams on the level of bachelor and magistracy, creative contests, the preparation of listeners for various exams carried out by government agencies. It was noted that in the center using the adaptive learning technique, education and training programs will be organized in full-time, remote and hybrid form.

The director of the Career Center Ramil Dzhabarov spoke about the meaning of digital marketing, the most popular in the labor market. He noted that a certified digital marketing program is implemented in UNEC, which causes great interest from the corporate sector.
