The EU monitoring mission on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border will better inform Brussels about the situation in the field and existing challenges, which can more effectively contribute to the peaceful process, the special representative of the EU in the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toyvo Claar.
He emphasized that the duration of the mission is two months: “The funds were provided from the budget of the observation mission in Georgia. We can do this for a short time, and not for a long time,” the European diplomat said.
