Ambassador of Germany in Ukraine Anca Feldgusen explained why Berlin does not want to supply weapons to Kiev. Her words give the portal “Country.ua”.
“For Germany, Historically Eastern Europe is a special part of the world, we were all brought up with the idea that German soldiers, German weapons will never be here,” the diplomat said.
She recalled that the date was recently difficult for Germany – June 22, the anniversary of the Attack of Nazi Forces on the Soviet Union.
“It is necessary to find in the Bundestage, and in the government most to change the opinion regarding weapons for this region. It is really difficult,” the ambassador explained.
