The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey reports that during air strikes in the north of Syria, 15 objects of terrorists were destroyed, consisting of the so -called headquarters, shelters and warehouses, and a large number of terrorists were neutralized.
The statement of the Ministry of National Defense says that in accordance with the right to self -defense arising from Article 51 of the UN Charter, at 22.00, with the aim of eliminating terrorist threats against the civilian population and security forces, air strikes on terrorists in the north of Syria were applied. As a result of air strikes, 15 targets consisting of the so -called headquarters, shelters and warehouses, in which it was supposed, took refuge in the leaders of terrorist groups.
During the operation, thanks to the use of high -precision domestic ammunition, a large number of terrorists were neutralized.
“During the air operation, all precautions were taken so as not to damage the civilian population, friendly elements, historical and cultural values and the environment,” the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey said in a statement.
