Turkish President said he proposed holding four -sided meeting on Karabakh

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he suggested holding a four -sided meeting on the problem of Karabakh.

The Turkish leader said this at a press conference in Istanbul before flying to New York.

“In our priorities, negotiations in a tripartite format were previously planned. But we also suggested meeting in a four -sided format,” the head of state said.

Erdogan said that Sweden seeking in NATO has not yet kept Turkish data on promises to fight terrorism.

According to him, Turkey will not answer “yes” or “no” on the issue of Sweden entry into NATO until the corresponding decision is made by its parliament.

“First of all, Sweden must fulfill its duty. It is not enough just to prepare the law, it is necessary to implement it,” Erdogan emphasized.

He noted that Sweden does not fulfill its duties, taking into account the participation of terrorists in shares under the defended Swedish police.

As for the report of the European Parliament, the head of state said that the European Union is striving to move away from Turkey.

“Ankara will analyze the situation, taking into account all the factors. After these assessments, the paths from the EU, if necessary, can disperse,” Erdogan commented on the process of Turkey’s joining the EU.

The Head of State noted that Turkey is determined to turn into the possibility of a period of change in global world order for the country and people.
