The UN Secretary General Antoniu Guterres said that he did not see the possibility of concluding a peace agreement on the situation in Ukraine. At the same time, he noted that today’s meeting of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations that took place in Istanbul demonstrated that “the parties can conduct a constructive dialogue.”
“But I still do not see the prerequisites for a peace agreement. But with regard to the achievement of the world, we have to go a very long way,” said the UN Secretary General following the results of the meeting.
Mr. Guterierrish added that the progress in negotiations on the export of Ukrainian grain in Istanbul is impossible to overestimate, he is “critical to solve the food crisis.”
