In the Baku cycling of the Cup of the Cup of the capital on the highway cycling rates, dedicated to celebrated June 3, World Bicycle Day.
Competition organized by the main management of young people and sports of the city of Baku and the Federation of Cycling Azerbaijan, this year was the first internal start on the highway cycling.
During the opening ceremony, the head of the Ragif Abbasov, he stressed that, as last year, and in this, after mitigating pandemic restrictions, the first internal competitions holds the federation of cycling.
In contests of cyclists, no older than 15 years at a distance of 10 km defeated Ayan Mamedzade (Sports Olympic School N7) and Ravi Rzaev (Republican Olympic Voshcol).
Among the 17-year-olds, Radha Shabanova and Huseyn Narimanov from the Republican Olympic Vocational Bodycolt were among the 17-year-olds. Representatives of the bicycles were stronger than others and in young people’s competitions: Victoria Sidorenko won 14 km away, and Nikita Fold – in 22 kilometer cycling.
Finally, in the elite / U-23 age category, the champion became Amral Abdulazizley from the N7 Sports Olympic School, the faster of all overcoming the distance at 22 km.
It is worth adding that the park, on the territory of the Baku Cup competition, was laid in the 1970s by Heydar Aliyev. A few years ago, he was re-operated under a cycle park. Now this object is the base of the federation of Azerbaijan cycling, but is open to all fans of cycling and summer picnics.
