Over past two weeks, six generals died in Cuba

Six high-ranking military Cuba died over the past two weeks in Cuba. According to TASS, with reference to the state television of the country, on Tuesday, one of the participants in the fight against Fulhencio Batists in the 50s of the last century Hilberto Antonio Cardero died.

It is noted that the body of the military was cremated, the causes of death are not reported. Cardero in 1957 joined the revolutionary forces and fought under the leadership of Raul Castro.

From July 18, on the official channels, the death of five more military were reported: the heads of the eastern division of the army of Cuba General Major Augustin Penyi, the Brigade General Marselo Verdessia Penets, the deputy of the Parliament of Cuba, General Major Ruben Martinez Puente, and who fought under the command of Ernesto Che Guevara Brigade General Manuel Eduardo Lastres and one of the founders of the revolutionary “movement on July 26” Brigade General Armando Chia Rodriguez.
