The Ambassador of France under the EU East Partnership program Bris Rockfey at the beginning of next week will make a visit to Azerbaijan, the French Foreign Ministry said.
The report says that France welcomes the recently telephone conversation between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the decision to convene a bilateral commission on border issues and continue negotiations on a peace treaty between the two countries. “France will continue to provide full support for this process,” the Foreign Ministry said.
It is noted that the French ambassador under the Eastern Partnership program Bris Rockefei will go to Baku next week, “to track these negotiations and on the continuation of his visit to Yerevan on April 11-14”.
