Ashgabat was summit of heads of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan

In Ashgabat, the first tripartite summit of the presidents of Turkmenistan Serdara Berdimuhamedov, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held in Ashgabat.

This is the first meeting at the highest level in a similar format.

During the negotiations, the heads of state discussed issues of expanding partnerships in the political-diplomatic, trade, economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres. Also, the presidents of the three countries exchanged views on the development of interaction in international and regional venues.
