Here at a very high level, a comprehensive treatment is carried out – chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical treatment, immunotherapy, etc. The clinic has children’s school surgery, children’s chemotherapy, children’s radiation therapy and children’s anesthesiology and resuscitation.

– how many children last year were diagnosed with cancer?

– In 2021, 170 children with onco-scabers were diagnosed in the clinic, all of them were treated on relevant protocols.

It should be noted that children’s oncology has fundamental differences from adult. Children’s cancellation in children make up about 1-1.5% of all malignant neoplasms. The main part of the oncology in children constitute embryonic tumors. Among children are often found leukemia (28 percent), tumors of the central nervous system (18-20 percent) and lymphoma (12-14 percent). Other malignant neoplasms, such as nephoblastoma, neuroblastoma and rhabdomyosarcoma, are 6-7 percent.

Cancer diseases occurring in adults (tumors of the lungs, gastrointestinal tract, breast cancer, bladder, prostate gland, etc.), extremely rare in children. Modern methods of treatment give the best results, in connection with which most children with oncology are possible complete recovery.
