In order to physical rehabilitation of veterans and participants in the war, who heroically fought for the liberation of our lands from occupation, playing sports, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle in a society in the Azerbaijan cycling Federation, a department for work with veterans was created.
A responsible employee of the Ministry of Defense Industry, Hero of the Patriotic War Gazanfar Agayev will lead the department on a voluntary basis.
The new structural unit will work closely with veterans and war participants so that they can use the capabilities of the federation as much as possible. The cycling Federation will conduct measures to restore physical health and effective organization of leisure of veterons.
, as the first such event, it is planned to hold a bicycle march of veterans on the eve of the Day of Memory of Shehids – September 27th.
