The treatment of the former Minister of Internal Affairs of the Nakhchivanskaya A general Lieutenant Ahmed Akhmedov.
The ex-minister was returned to a correctional institution after a 3-month treatment in the Nakhchivansky Diagnostic Center.
Akhmedov’s health status is evaluated as satisfactory.
Ahmed Akhmedov, who worked as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Nakhchivanskaya AR, was relieved of his post in 2020, was detained in Baku and arrested in the same year. The verdict of the Military Court of the Nakhchivanskaya Ar -Med Akhmedov was found guilty of embezzlement in an especially large scale, abuse of authority, receiving bribes, as well as abuse of authority and sentenced to 11 years in prison.
