President of the Republic of Moldova Maya Sandu called the president of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev today. This was reported by the press service of the head of the Azerbaijani state.
According to the message, during a telephone conversation, Mayan Sandu congratulated Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people on May 28 – Independence Day, conveyed their most sincere wishes.
The head of the Azerbaijani state expressed gratitude for the congratulations.
During the conversation, the issues of bilateral cooperation were raised, an exchange of views was held to expand energy, economic and trade relations. Issues of regional and mutual interest were also discussed, the statement said.
