Petersburg closes on Lokdan

The authorities of St. Petersburg announced a coronavirus locked: from the end of October and until November 7, in the second city of Russia almost all, except for food stores.

On Saturday, the administration of St. Petersburg announced that from October 30 to November 7, schools will be closed in the city, all entertainment places, restaurants, bars, cafes and all stores, except for those where more than 30% of the range makes food, transfers BBC News.

Catering establishments will be able to work only on removal. Exception is made only for cafes at stations and gas stations, as well as for production canteens.

Only theaters and museums will work from entertainment facilities, but it will be possible to get into them only with QR code (confirmation of vaccination) or with a negative test to coronavirus. All sporting events are canceled.

Another surge in the coronavirus began in Russia at the end of September, over the last month the number of new cases, according to official statistics, has doubled. In the country, almost daily record a record number of new cases of infection per day and maximum daily mortality. The authorities explain the high mortality rate to the low rate of the vaccination campaign: only about a third of the population is completely vaccinated.
